There are direct buses from Hakodate airport to JR Hakodate station. It takes 20 minutes and costs Y310. From there, transfer to a local bus at the stop in front of JR Hakodate station (about 45 mins).

A slightly cheaper alternative is to take a bus from the airport to Goryokaku park (approximately 30 minutes) and make a connection in Goryokaku to our campus (approximately 25 minutes).



You can rent a car at Hakodate airport. For a "Compact Class" car (examples of these in Japan are the "Micra" and "Yaris"), the standard rental rate is about Y7,500 per day.


A taxi takes approximately 30 minutes and costs about Y4,000. This is the quickest and most convenient way to get to FUN, and is cost-effective if you are travelling with other people.



There are regular buses (Hakodate Bus) from JR Hakodate station to our campus and from Goryokaku to our campus.


It takes approximately 20 minutes and costs about Y2500 from the Goryokaku area, and approximately 30 minutes and about Y4000 from Hakodate station to the FUN campus.

Flights arriving at Narita Airport, close to Tokyo: You can take a limousine bus from Narita Airport to Haneda Domestic Airport. This will cost Y3000 and take approximately 75 minutes. A flight from Haneda to Hakodate takes approximately 1 hour.

Flights arriving at Kansai International Airport, in Osaka: International and domestic flights are located in the same building. A flight from Osaka to Hakodate takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Flights arriving at Shin-Chitose Airport, close to Sapporo: You can catch a train to Hakodate (change to an express at Shin-Chitose station). An express from Shin-Chitose to Hakodate costs approximately Y8000 and takes 3 hours.
