| All students at
FUN are required to purchase their own PCs, which are used daily in the
classroom. Of course, many students also use these PCs for recreation
in their spare time - especially with the rise of networked games and
the growth of the Internet.
FUN also has a well-developed support system for students interested in life away from the digital world. There are around 30 clubs organized by the students for |
enjoying music, sports, arts,
games, and other hobbies. Students also play an active role in
organizing and participating in events in and around Hakodate. Such
community involvement is actively encouraged.
Finally, FUN is located in an area of recognized natural beauty. It makes an ideal base for students to just take time out in the surrounding mountains, lakes and seas of Japan's northernmost island. |
