Campus Life

Facilities Overview

FUN has facilities to support all stages of research and study, from group work to private study, and from presentation to reflection. There are private research labs, central workshops supporting craft and electronics activities, and a large open-space area supporting network access and open communication. An anechoic chamber supports sound research, and there is a high-speed video link to the University's satellite center in the middle of town.

Many of the walls of the school building are made of glass, embodying the University's theme of "openness". Classrooms and even faculty offices are openly visible.

We believe that the possibilities for creativity are limited by sitting alone in a room facing a computer. We believe that interaction between people, and between people and nature, is a necessary element for creative imagination. Our campus represents this belief.
