General FUN Information

Educational Goals

At FUN it is believed that there are at least two objectives for education.

The first is to acquire knowledge and abilities that help us to survive in the real world. These knowledge bases and abilities must be linked directly with making a living, such as being qualified as a doctor, by engaging in productive activities and providing services.

Although the section on “Faculty” explains these educational objectives in greater detail, such abilities include the imperative to increase knowledge, understand the meaning of basic fundamentals, and use such fundamentals in an effective manner. This may include tools essential for basic living such as “reading, writing, and the abacus”. It may also include the kinds of knowledge that allows students to utilize such knowledge in the form of leading-edge techniques for the real world as soon as they graduate from FUN.

The second suggested objective points to the ability to survive and thrive in our rapidly changing environment. People acquire wisdom to deal with changes in the process of obtaining new knowledge.

Such education is not just for the sake of understanding the rules discovered by others but to acquire the ability to identify and deploy the rules necessary for changing one’s own situation. For this reason, we provide the kind of educational environment that allows students to thoroughly think about the nature of what they learn and why.

We aim to provide the types of education that creates people who have come to develop their own perspectives, necessary knowledge/abilities for time management, and universal values regardless of the times we live in.
