Introduction

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media Architecture at Future University-Hakodate. I used to be a member of the ISshogi Project, in which we develop one of the strongest shogi (Japanese chess) programs in the world. Click here (in Japanese) for commercial versions of our software. Research Interests

I am interested in Artificial Intelligence and parallel/distributed computing. I have been working with Prof. Martin Mueller and Prof. Jonathan Schaeffer since I was a member of the GAMES group in the Department of Computing Science at the University of Alberta.
