Three teams from our university received awards at HAKODATE Academic Link 2023.

November 3, 2023 At HAKODATE Academic Link 2023, held at Hakodate Arena, the following three teams from our university received awards.

HAKODATE Academic Link is a joint research presentation event where students from eight high schools in Hakodate City gather to present their research topics and results through poster displays and practical Craft-Shops.

Of the 47 teams that participated in the booth sessions this time, the "Swift 2023 Future University Student Support" team received a Special Jury Prize, following the Grand Prize and Excellence Awards, while both the "FanRobo Research Institute" and "Advanced ICT Exercise Hakodate Sweets" teams received the Peer Review Grand Prize, which was awarded to the team that received the highest evaluation in peer reviews among participants.

◎ Booth Session Special Jury Prize

  • Theme: Support app for future university students
  • Team name: Swift 2023 Future University Student Support
  • Members: Masaya Osuga, Toranosuke Minamikawa, Keiru Takahashi, Teru Saito, Toshiyoshi Suzuki

Activity Overview: This group aims to support students enrolled at Future University Hakodate by making it easier for them to access information, thereby enabling them to lead more efficient student lives. By proposing this product, we aim to create an environment where students can easily find the information they need.

 

◎Peer Review Award

  • Theme: Using entertainment robots to showcase the future of the university to the world
  • Team name: Fanrobo Research Institute
  • Members: Reiya Ito, Mitsuki Imota, Ryo Sasaki, Taiki Nemoto, Kaori Miura, Sakura Yanagikuta, Mikako Tsurugasaki

Activity Overview: At "Funrobo Research Institute," we are creating three robots to promote Future University to the world: "Pawamaro-kun," who works hard at muscle training; "FUNJO," which is modeled after an ermine; and "Shippokun," who provides comfort with his adorable gestures.

 

◎Peer Review Award

  • Theme: Development of "AmaHako," an app that conveys the charm of Hakodate sweets.
  • Team Name: Advanced ICT Exercise Hakodate Sweets
  • Members: Naoya Ishimoto, Yuji Oyanagi, Yume Hakamada, Kotaro Tajima, Ryoma Nakakita, Yuma Hida

Activity Overview: Hakodate Sweets is a project aiming to popularize Hakodate sweets, and is currently developing a mobile app called "AmaHako". This year, with the goal of revitalizing Hakodate with "AmaHako", we are working on releasing the iOS version and adding new features to the Android version.
