Research

Toshiaki Takahashi, a first-year doctoral student (supervisor: Professor Niimi), has been selected for the "Awakening Project," a program conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) to support and cultivate highly skilled research personnel in the field of deep tech.

This "Awakening Project" aims to solicit original research themes from young researchers that tackle social issues and to provide research support.
2024 The organization solicited original and innovative deep tech research development themes from young researchers in four research areas (AI, biotechnology, materials and chemistry, and quantum mechanics). After a rigorous review process, 24 cutting-edge research and development themes were selected, including Ms. Takahashi's theme in the AI field.

Takahashi and other researchers whose themes were selected will receive ongoing support from their project managers (PMs), supervisors (SVs), and host researchers at AIST. March, 2025 We will continue our research until the end of the month.

Research Theme: "A procedural narrative creation support system following a hierarchical structure using a large-scale language model"
