Masahiro Nakamura, a first-year doctoral student (Master's program) in the field of Complex Systems Information Science, supervised by Associate Professor Tomoki Kurikawa,July 24, 2025 July 24, 2025 I received the Junior Researcher Poster Award and the Domestic Travel Award at the 48th Annual Meeting of the Japan Neuroscience Society, held in Niigata Prefecture on the 27th.
At this conference, Ms. Nakamura presented and received recognition for her research, which used computer models that mimic the neural circuits of the brain to elucidate the influence of the dimensions of the nervous system on cognitive flexibility, the ability to adapt to environmental changes.
The Junior Researcher Poster Award is given to undergraduate students or first-year doctoral students who give particularly outstanding poster presentations. The Domestic Travel Award is established to support young researchers who give presentations.
Presentation Title: Dimensions in Recurrent Neural Networks Change Learning Strategies
