Kotaro Sasaki, a first-year doctoral student (Information Architecture field, supervised by Professor Kei Ito),November 6, 2025 November 6, 2025 At the 32nd Fundamentals of Software Engineering Workshop FOSE2025, held on the 8th at the Nigitatsu Kaikan in Dogo Onsen, Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, I presented research that had been submitted as a practical paper, peer-reviewed, and accepted, and received the Outstanding Presentation Award.
Ms. Sasaki developed "Virtual TA," a programming exercise support system utilizing generative AI, and built a function that allows teachers and teaching assistants (TAs) to visualize the history of questions that learners have sent to the AI. Through its use in university classes, its effectiveness in understanding and analyzing support by teachers and TAs, and the potential of AI utilization in educational settings, were evaluated.
This award is given to those who have given outstanding presentations, based on votes from other participants.
