Advanced ICT exercises
What is Advanced ICT Practice?
Advanced ICT exercises are practical activities in which students from multiple courses and grade levels gather voluntarily and conduct exercises with the support of multiple faculty members and corporate instructors.
We mainly meet in teams during the 4th and 5th periods every Monday to develop apps and other applications.
What you can gain from advanced ICT exercises
This seminar provides an opportunity for growth through practical experience that cannot be obtained through regular lectures alone.

You will gain hands-on experience in the team development processes required in real-world settings, including role assignment, progress management, and opinion coordination. - Interaction across grade levels
Because students from lower grades to upper grades work towards the same goal, vertical connections are formed, and skills and knowledge are passed down. - Connections with society and businesses
Because we develop projects while directly interacting with local businesses, municipalities, and external organizations, we can gain a professional perspective and a firsthand understanding of societal needs.

Theme Introduction (2025 2025 )
Fun-i-Con

Fun-i-Con is working to promote DX (Digital Transformation) in the construction industry. In collaboration with Crossty Holdings Co., Ltd., we are addressing challenges that arise in actual construction sites. Specific challenges include the fact that daily reports are only used as a minimal means of reporting, and that a culture of sharing reflections and learnings has not taken root within the company. To solve these problems, this year we are developing an app that adds new value to the daily reports used in construction sites. By creating a system for adding information to daily reports and facilitating reflections, we aim to transform daily reports from a means of reporting into a means of accumulating and sharing information.

Recognizing the advantages and disadvantages of existing bus search and location apps, this project aims to develop a bus search app that effectively incorporates the strengths of both, supporting the use of Hakodate City's buses. In addition to bus search capabilities, the app will also display the current location of the desired bus. Furthermore, we are focusing the app on Hakodate City bus information only and designing a user-friendly interface. The data used within the app is provided by Hakodate Bus Co., Ltd.
Funcy

At Future University Tokyo, a variety of activities take place every day, producing new works and achievements. However, currently, there are few opportunities for students to showcase these results. Therefore, this project is working on developing "Funport," a project sharing service for Future University Tokyo students. We hope that sharing projects using Funport will foster new communities and ideas at Future University Tokyo. This year, we are working on developing the web platform infrastructure and adding new features.
Fish Day

At Osakana Biyori, we work every day with the goal of "conveying the charm of Hokkaido's seafood." Hokkaido is overflowing with abundant marine resources. We want to share this charm even more, so this year we plan to develop an app with a map function. Through this app, we aim to spread the appeal of Hokkaido's seafood. In addition, in collaboration with the Hakodate Machikado Aquarium Project, we have also started developing an app that will communicate the importance of local marine resources through a new approach that links tourism and marine education.
Hakodate Sweets

The goal of this project is to increase consumption of Hakodate's historic sweets. To achieve this goal, we are focusing our activities on developing "AmaHako," an app to convey the appeal of Hakodate sweets. During the development process, we have been exchanging opinions and holding meetings with the Hakodate Sweets Promotion Council and the Hakodate City Economic Department to incorporate feedback from local residents and improve the app. This year, we are working on creating a new web application to support the development of new Hakodate sweets.

This project involves the development and operation of the mobile app "Hakodate." Hakondate is an app created with the concept of connecting school lunches and homes using open data. It was developed with the cooperation of nutrition teachers at elementary and junior high schools, and includes a convenient menu, popular school lunch recipes in Hakodate City, and detailed nutritional information for each menu and ingredient. This year, we were able to launch a new version of the app.
FUN Online Interactive Platform (FOIP)

Our team operates with the vision of "creating a culture that promotes the philosophy of 'Open space, Open mind'," and we are developing "FUNverse," a location-sharing app specifically for Future University of Tokyo. While Future University of Tokyo has the motto of "Open space, Open mind," there is a challenge in that it is difficult to know who is where and what they are doing, even when on campus. FUNverse will provide an environment where students can share their locations on campus and easily meet up with other students on campus.
Quiz Creator

In this project, we are working on developing "QuizAtive," software that will allow anyone to easily create quiz games without coding. It will feature a visual programming method similar to Scratch, making it easy for anyone to create games, and will include various quiz genres such as true/false and multiple-choice questions. Once the beta version of this software is complete, we plan to exhibit quiz games created using QuizAtive at the Esashi Local History Museum.

This project involves the development and operation of "Dotto," a mobile app to support students of Future University. Dotto aims to support student life by consolidating scattered and hard-to-find information about Future University.2023 2023 It has already been released on both iOS and Android platforms. In the first semester, students learned the basics of app development, and from the second semester onwards, they are implementing and refactoring features that are in high demand among Future University students. In addition, we are actively taking on new challenges to let them experience the joy of development.
future mart

We are a team whose goal is to make all convenience store operations accessible even to new employees. Currently, we are working on developing a sales forecasting app for FamilyMart's fried chicken at a convenience store in the city. Traditionally, preparing hot snacks relied on experience and intuition. We will use customer traffic and sales volume data to forecast and suggest demand, enabling anyone to prepare the food properly. Currently, the app is implemented in one store, and we plan to expand to more stores and utilize other data in the future.
FUN Developers Hub

While many technology communities exist within Future University, information is scattered, making it difficult to grasp their activities and event information. FUN Developers Hub operates a comprehensive platform for technology communities to improve this situation. It aggregates introductions and event information for each community, providing an environment where necessary information is easily accessible. This year, in addition to implementing new features, we plan to refresh the design based on discussions from last year.
