Progress so far

Future University Hakodate aims to create a society where "humanity" and "science" are in harmony, fostering highly creative individuals with profound intellect and rich humanity, and contributing to the advancement of academia, culture, and industry by collaborating with the local community as a hub for intellectual, cultural, and international exchange.2000 2000 The university was established in [year].

Since its founding, the university has been based in Hakodate, Hokkaido, and has strived to be a unique, future-oriented university rooted in the local community and based on information science. In its open, glass-walled campus, the university has engaged in pioneering education, including project-based learning, and has pursued humanistic education that equips students with specialized knowledge, autonomy, and communication skills. The university has also been engaged in research closely related to local issues, including fisheries, tourism, and healthcare.

As a result of these activities, we have produced approximately 4,400 graduates who are active in various fields of society. Purpose of the fund

Amidst a declining population and low birth rate, supporting outstanding and motivated students, boldly promoting internationalization, and deepening research and education closely tied to local industries are becoming increasingly important in order to maintain and develop education and research at Future University Hakodate for the future. To support these efforts, there is a growing need for diverse and flexible funding. Taking the occasion of our 20th anniversary, we have decided to further strengthen the Future University Hakodate Promotion Fund by launching online donation applications.

Use of your donation

The university will implement the following programs, including its own grant-based scholarships and international student exchange programs (such as study abroad support), as well as student learning, interaction, and information dissemination within the local community.
