Use of community facilities

At Future University Hakodate, to the extent that it does not interfere with educational and research activities, we lend out a portion of our university facilities as community exchange facilities to serve as a hub for intellectual and cultural interaction among residents. Please see below for details on how to use these facilities.

How to apply

Each time you wish to use the facility, please submit the "Public University Corporation Future University Hakodate Community Exchange Facility Use Permit Application Form" by 12:00 PM on the Thursday of the week prior to your desired date of use.General Affairs Division Facilities Affairs SectionPlease mail or bring your application to (weekdays 9:00-17:00). If there are a large number of applications, users will be selected by lottery. If permission is granted, a permission letter will be sent to the applicant, and if permission is denied, a notice of denial will be sent to the applicant.

On the day of use

Please present your usage permit at the security office to enter the campus. You may not be able to use the facility without a usage permit. If you wish to cancel your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please note the following points before using this service.

Important notes for all facilities

  1. Please present your permit to security guards upon request.
  2. Please complete setup and cleanup within the allotted time.
  3. The right to use the facility cannot be transferred or subleased to another person.
  4. Please follow all instructions from security guards when using the facilities and associated equipment.
  5. Do not post any notices or drive thumbtacks, nails, etc. into walls, pillars, windows, etc.
  6. Please refrain from selling goods, advertising, publicity, or soliciting donations.
  7. The use of fire is prohibited. Smoking is prohibited on the university grounds except in designated areas.
  8. Please take your trash home with you or throw it in the trash can.
  9. Please refrain from any behavior that may cause inconvenience to others, such as making noise, shouting, or using violence.
  10. If the building or attached facilities are damaged, soiled, or lost, please report this immediately to the security office and the user will be required to pay for the damage.
  11. In the event of an unforeseen incident such as injury or accident, please take necessary measures such as reporting the incident and providing first aid, and then report it to the security office.
  12. The user is responsible for managing the storage of items brought in.
  13. Please strictly adhere to the usage time and report to the security office after use.
  14. If you have any other questions, please ask a security guard and follow their instructions.

Gymnasium precautions

  1. Futsal and soccer are not permitted. In addition to these ball games, permission may be denied depending on the purpose of use. (Examples of ball games that are not permitted: catch ball, soccer/futsal shooting/passing practice, etc.)
  2. The equipment storeroom contains equipment for badminton, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, etc. (posts, nets, basketball goals, table tennis tables, etc.) Please return the equipment to its original location after use.
  3. You cannot enter with shoes on. Please be sure to bring indoor shoes.
  4. When playing ball games such as basketball or volleyball, be sure to properly install ball netting to prevent glass breakage.
