1 Studio

The open space called the "Studio" extends from the first to the fifth floor, creating a high ceiling. Students read books, listen to lectures, and ponder deeply. They discuss, consult, and teach each other. Essential learning activities take place naturally throughout this comfortable space at Future University. Furthermore, the walls in front of the faculty rooms are made of transparent glass, allowing both students and faculty to see each other. The communication that arises from this space forms the core of learning at Future University.

2 Atelier

This space is designed for practical exercises in design-related classes and other related fields. It is equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment, allowing for a variety of creative activities.

3 Presentation Bay

This circular presentation space is located on the first floor. It's used for group lessons, research presentations, and experimental demonstrations.

5 Core Space (Annex Building)

This shared space is used for various meetings and research activities. Facing the laboratories, it also serves as a place for students to interact with each other.

Located between the faculty room and the graduate student room, this space is ideal for experiments and research activities.

1 Computer Classroom

This lab is equipped with Macs, a shared color printer, and other devices. In addition to classes and practical training, it is also open to students during their free time.

2 Media Library

A tranquil space surrounded by countless specialized books. With its simply designed furnishings and a reading room offering panoramic views of the city's nightscape, the Media Library possesses a variety of unique charms and features.

3 Museum

This multipurpose space is located immediately to the right after entering the main entrance. Various exhibitions and events are held here, including presentations of student and faculty work.

4 Craft-Shop/Electronic Craft-Shop

Future University has a "Craft-Shop" where students and faculty can turn their ideas and images into tangible forms. It provides a well-equipped workspace to support students and faculty in their creative endeavors, featuring digital fabrication tools such as 3D printers and laser cutters, as well as drill presses, panel saws, and various other tools.

5 gymnasium

This gymnasium features a design that allows sunlight to stream in through the glass walls of its open atrium. It is used for club activities, classes, and other purposes.

6 Training room

This facility is equipped with various machines and can be used for maintaining health and refreshing oneself. It is also used for activities such as dance clubs.

7 the mall

The open atrium space that extends straight from the main building towards the Annex Building is called the "Mall." The walls are all made of glass, allowing you to peek inside the classrooms. It's a common sight at Future University to see teachers and students passing by the Mall stopping to watch the classes taking place inside.

8 Large lecture hall

This is used for lectures with a large number of students, such as required courses. It is equipped with the latest facilities that take into consideration the comfort of students sitting in the back seats.

9 Center for University-Society Relations and Collaboration (CRC)

The Center for University-Society Relations and Collaboration (CRC)June 2012 April, 2012 It was established by reorganizing and renaming the existing joint research center.

1 C&D lecture room

This classroom is primarily used for communication-related classes. The oval-shaped tables, designed for group work, can be freely arranged to suit the purpose of use.

2 Administration Bureau

This is a support center for university life, offering services such as course registration, certificate issuance, scholarships, and student life consultations. It's an open space where students can easily drop by and complete necessary procedures and seek advice.

3 Delta Vista

A triangular, multi-purpose space that seems to float in the studio's open atrium. It's a place where you can relax and enjoy the view of Hakodate city and the sea.

1 Kujira Auditorium

This is the largest lecture hall at Future University, boasting the highest seating capacity. Because the walls are made of glass, the tiered layout of the classroom can be seen from the studio side as well.

2 Small lecture room

This classroom is used for small-group lectures and other similar activities. A unique feature of Future University is that it has glass walls, allowing people outside to observe the lectures.

3 Middle lecture room

This medium-sized lecture hall is the one students use most often for lectures. A unique feature of Future University is that the lectures are visible from the outside thanks to its glass walls.

4 Connections Cafe (International Exchange Room)

Connections Cafe is a space designed for practical and fun English communication.

5 Student counseling room

The Student Counseling Center provides counseling by clinical psychologists with experience in the medical and educational fields (schools, etc.), and is available to all students of the university.
