The appeal of research
Design practice is something everyone does in their daily lives, and design research deals with this "practice." As an academic discipline, there are still many unexplored areas, and because no two "practices" are the same, we sometimes struggle with the lack of understanding and the immaturity of the field. However, the keyword "design" allows us to encounter diverse activities and people, which is enriching for us, and we believe that we can build up our own knowledge in the field of research.
Achievements
2002 2002 Furthermore, I oversee the Content Creation Office at the Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies and the Information Environment Organization of Kyoto University, which is responsible for supporting content creation (content design). Over 400 projects have been created through collaboration between researchers, university faculty and staff, and design teams.
In addition, 2002 2002 We then moved into the Ogi district of Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, and continued our activities through the "Jizo Project."
