My reason for enrolling in the Advanced ICT Course was rather passive: "a friend invited me." At the time, I was hesitant to enroll because I was worried about whether I could keep up with the high-level environment. However, once I took that first step, I found myself surrounded by supportive peers, teachers, and an environment that encouraged my growth. In the Advanced ICT exercises, I gained leadership experience and, while working on team development while discussing with local residents, I realized the importance of finding what I could do and taking proactive action. The small class sizes made it easy to ask questions to the teachers, and I fostered a proactive learning attitude by teaching and learning from my classmates. I was also inspired by other students in the course who purchased technical books and participated in events using the course budget, and I became more proactive in event management and learning myself. Some of the learning and experiences in the Advanced ICT Course can be directly applied to my work. However, technology is constantly evolving, and the roles that should be played in a team change depending on the situation. The ability to take initiative and act proactively to adapt to such changes, which I acquired in the Advanced ICT Course, is an even more valuable asset to me. If you are currently hesitating, I encourage you to take that first step.
