University Library (Media Library)

A space that stimulates intellectual curiosity, providing access to academic information from around the world.
The concept behind our "Media Library" is to stimulate the intellectual curiosity of everyone who visits, not just students and faculty. Our goal is to collect and provide academic materials and information necessary for educational and research activities, and to accumulate and openly share educational and research results.
Its most distinctive feature is the vast amount of material available online. While it has 100,000 books, it boasts approximately 67,000 ebooks, and for magazines, it offers around 4,000 titles digitally, eight times as many as 500 print magazines. Because digital books and academic information make up half of its entire collection, it is named a "Media Library" rather than a typical "library."
The Media Library, which provides access to academic papers and scholarly information from around the world, also serves as a gateway to global knowledge.
A "center of knowledge" that evolves through the ideas of faculty, staff, and students.
One of the unique features is the presence of "editable bookshelves," such as bookshelves displaying monthly themed exhibitions and "course bookshelves" featuring books recommended by faculty members. In addition, at the annual "Book Fair," approximately 2,000 books related to the university's specialized fields and general education are displayed with the cooperation of bookstores, and students can request books from this selection to be added to the Media Library.
Our university's Media Library is an evolving "center of knowledge" that selects books and information appropriate for our university, creates a system that allows everyone to participate, and explores "editing and expression that is uniquely Future University" for the selected books and information.
