Startup support
October 1, 2024 October 1, 2024 Furthermore, we support companies whose primary objective is to commercialize the research results of our university by awarding them the title of "Future University Hakodate Startup." The title is awarded for a period of five years from the date of award and can be renewed up to once.

Visa Requirements
Companies eligible to apply are those whose primary purpose is to commercialize the research results of this university and that fall under one of the following categories:
- This utilizes intellectual property rights owned by the university, its faculty and staff, or its students.
- We utilize research results achieved or skills acquired at this university.
- The founder must be a faculty member or student of this university, or deeply involved in its establishment (including those who have retired, graduated, or completed their studies, and whose period between retirement, etc., and the establishment is within three years).
- Other companies that the Chairman of the Board deems to possess qualifications equivalent to those listed above.
Support business
For a maximum of five years from the date the title was first awarded, we will provide the following support, to the extent that it does not interfere with the management, administration, education, and research of this university.
- Use of facilities designated by the university
- When using facilities designated by this university, the registered address shall be the university's address.
- To facilitate the receipt and delivery of mail and other items.
- Public relations will be conducted through the university's website, etc.
- Any other matters deemed necessary by the Chairman
