I received Ph.D. (Eng.) in Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan in 1999.
From 1999 to 2000, I was a research associate in Research Institute of
Electrical Communication, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. I was a
research fellow in Advanced Research Center, Communications Research
Laboratory ,Kobe, Japan. From 2001 to 2005, I was a
"Creating the Brain" CREST (Core Research for Evolutional Science and Technology) researcher, Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
From 2005 to 2009, I investigated the hippocampal memory mechanism at Lab. for Dynamics of Emergent Intelligence, RIKEN Brain Science Institute.
From 2010, I was an associate professor at Future University Hakodate and became a professor from 2014.
