Camera-ready Submission

Deadline: January 26, 2018

Please prepare your paper using the following paper templates:

Camera ready paper submissions are handled via EasyChair (click red button above). After you log in to EasyChair for IWFCV-2018 with your account, you should updates previously submitted papers to the final version.

Authors whose papers are accepted for Oral/Poster presentation should submit full-paper (up to 6 pages) camera-ready manuscripts by the deadline. And also, extended-summary (up to 2 pages) are acceptable for Oral/Poster presentation.
Authors for Demo presentation should submit camera-ready manuscript of extended-summary (up to 2 pages).

The due date of the submission of the final camera-ready paper is January 26. This is a firm deadline for the production of the proceedings.

Presentation Guideline


Oral Presentation

The presentation of Oral session is 15 minutes includaing Q&A (3 minutes). All presenters should be in the conference room and must report to the session chair no later than 5 minutes before the start of the session. Please bring your laptop computer for your presentation. The connector type of the projector is VGA (DSUB-15), and we will prepare a HDMI-to-VGA converters. Macintosh users should bring their own adaptor to connect their laptop to the projector. Since screens in oral session room is the 4:3 format, we recommend to create your presentation also in 4:3 format.

Poster Presentation

The size of a poster board is 1130mm(width) x 1670mm(height), which suites for A0 poster. Push pins will be available for mounting posters. At least one presenter should keep staying in front of the poster during the poster session. Since we have enough space for presentation, all posters can remain on display for all days of the workshop. Anyway, please remove your posters no later than 17:00, February 22.

Demo Presentation

The size of a poster board is 1130mm(width) x 1670mm(height), which suites for A0 poster. Push pins will be available for mounting posters. In addition, we prepare a desk of 1800mm(width) x 450mm(depth) x 700mm(height) and one electric outlet with 100V voltage and 50Hz frequency. The suitable electric socket is type-A (2-pins). The presenters should bring their own adoptor, depending on their necessity.

IW-FCV2018 is the 24th International Workshop on Frontiers of Computer Vision. And the workshop will be held at Hakodate, Japan, on February 21-23, 2018. The workshop is pursuing a goal of developing new technologies on computer vision fundamentals, machine vision application, and also varieties of many related researches.

SCOPE

Topics of interest include all aspects of image processing, computer vision, machine vision, the fundamentals and applications including, but not limited to, the following areas:

Theory:

Computer Vision theory & software, 3D image processing, Depth image recognition, Image sensor & device, Image processing hardware & architecture, Optical image processing & sensing, Video processing Motion analysis, Image search & retrieving, Big data image processing, Deep Learning-based Vision, Machine & Semantic Learning.
