仕事の紹介

私は、CALL（Computer Assisted Language Learning）という分野の研究に取り組んできた。CALL、あるいはコンピューターによる言語学習は言語学では新しい分野であるが、コンピューター は言語学習道具として潜在的な可能性が大きい。インターアクティブな性格も合わせ持つコンピューター教材の利点は、学生のニーズや能力によって教材が適応 できることである。一例として、教師がコンピューター上の教材を作成し、その教材と学生の間にインターアクティブなやり取りができるなど、コンピューター を操作する者の積極的反応によりそれはかなり効果的な学習道具とうるものである。
