情報アーキテクチャ学科
情報を「体験」にする力。
情報アーキテクチャ学科は、情報を伝え、表現し、体験として届けるための枠組み（アーキテクチャ）を探究する学科です。学科名は「information architect（情報の構造を設計する人）」に由来し、次のような多様な領域を含む広がりを持っています。学科の英語名を Media Architecture としているのも、この多様性を反映しています。

現代の情報社会では、高度な情報技術だけでなく、一般の人が使いやすく、理解しやすく、快適に情報に触れられる情報環境が求められています。そのため、一つのプロジェクトを完結させるためには、情報技術だけでなく、次の視点と手法などを用いて、人と情報のより良い関係を構想し、実装する力が必要となります。
- デザイン・表現 「接点」の創出
- 人間科学・認知科学・感性 「人」の理解
- コミュニケーション・社会文化の理解 「文脈」の理解
- ソフトウェア・センサ・インタラクション技術 「道具」の構築
- フィールドワークや地域連携による実践的知見 「現場」での検証
こうした領域を横断的に学ぶことで学生は、情報システム、デザイン、認知科学、社会実装を横断的に学修し、新しい情報体験・メディア・サービスを創造できる広い意味での「情報アーキテクト」 となる力を身につけます。
情報アーキテクチャ学科は、情報・人間・社会・技術を横断しながら、未来の情報体験と情報環境を創造する学科です。
