Mathematical methods in nonlinear science
研究概要
Some of the questions I am trying to answer in my research are:
- what are the basic mechanisms ledading to complexity and chaos in nonlinear oscillatory models?
- what is the role of resonances in complex behavior?
- how to predict chaos onset in nonlinear systems?
- how to describe complex phenomena with statistical methods?
- what is the origin of complexity observed in various experimental data sets, from turbulent jets behind the aircraft to radio sigals induced by plasma instabilities in Jupiter magnetosphere
