令和3年3月18日（木）、本学の学生1名が新型コロナウイルスに感染したことが判明しました。

調査の結果、発症の2日前から当該学生の学内への入構はなく、本学関係者との学外での接触者を把握しており、また、市立函館保健所により本学学生、教職員に濃厚接触者がないことが確認されているため、現在、大学では通常どおり業務を行っております。

このことから、3月22日（月）実施予定の卒業式・修了式につきましては、学生のみの参加により、感染対策を講じたうえ予定どおり行います。

本学といたしましては、今後におきましても、市立保健所等と連携を取りながら、感染防止対策を徹底し、感染拡大の防止に努めてまいります。

感染が確認された学生の一日も早い快復をお祈りするとともに、感染した学生とそのご家族等の人権尊重、個人情報保護につきまして、皆様のご理解とご配慮をお願い申し上げます。

On Thursday, March 18, 2021, one of our students has been found to be infected with COVID-19.

As a result of the investigation, the student has not been on campus for two days prior to the onset of the disease, and we are aware of no off-campus contact with anyone related to the University. Since the Public Health Center has confirmed that there is no close contact among the University’s students, faculty and staff, the university is currently operating as usual.

For this reason, the graduation ceremony scheduled for Monday, March 22 will be held as scheduled, with only students participating, and with infection control measures in place.

The university will continue to take thorough measures to prevent the spread of infection in cooperation with the public health center.

In addition to praying for the earliest possible recovery of the infected students, we would like to ask for your understanding and consideration in respecting the human rights of the infected students and their families, and in protecting their personal information.
