新１年生のみなさん
未来大では、学修意欲の向上を促進することを目的に、
今年度から「22世紀奨学金制度」を創設し、
１年次で優秀な成績を収めた学部生を表彰します。
本奨学金は、本学の振興を図るために設置され、
今日まで多くの方々からの寄附によって支えられている
「公立はこだて未来大学振興基金」事業の一つとして
実施するものであり、まさに、みなさんの未来に向けた
奨学金制度です。
大学での学びでは，基礎を身につけることが大切です。
本奨学金の趣旨にもあるように、学生のみなさんが１年生の
うちから学修意欲を持ち、
基礎力と学ぶ習慣を身につけていくことを希望します。
公立はこだて未来大学

本奨学金の詳細は次のとおりです。
■評価対象とする学生
令和２年４月の学部１年入学生から対象とし，２年生進級後に表彰します。
（注１）留年者，休学中，懲戒処分（停学，訓告）対象者を除く。
（注２）編入学者，転入学者，再入学者を除く。
■評価対象とする成績
学部１年次の前期および後期の成績結果を対象とします。
（注１）１年次の必修科目をすべて修得していること。
（注２）４８単位以上修得していること。
■評価方法
学部１年次の通算GPAの上位者
（注１）同順位の場合は，修得単位数の多い方を優先する。

■奨学金支給額
総額100万円
■選考
選考結果は学部２年生に進級後，本人および保証人の方に通知します。
■その他
・受給申請は不要です。
・奨学金は一括で支給します。
・他の奨学金等との併給を制限していません。ただし，他の奨学金等
の方で併給を禁じている場合がありますので，そちらの団体等に
お尋ねください。

Dear freshman students,
With the aim of promoting higher motivation to study, Future University Hakodate establishes
the “22nd Century Scholarship System” from this year to honor undergraduate students
who achieve excellent grades in their first year.
This scholarship is one of the projects of the “Future University of Hakodate Promotion Fund,”
which was established to promote the university and has been supported by donations from
many people to date. This is a scholarship system for your future.
It is important to learn the basics in universities.
As stated in the purpose of this scholarship, we hope that you will be motivated to learn
and acquire basic skills and study habits from your first year.

The details for the scholarship are as follows.
■Students who are eligible for evaluation
Students entering in the first year of the undergraduate program in April 2020 and thereafter
are eligible, and will be awarded after promotion to the second year.
Note 1: Those who repeat a year, being on a leave of absence or subject to disciplinary action
(suspension, admonition) are excluded.
Note 2: Transfer students and re-entrants are excluded.
■Grades which are eligible for evaluation
The grades of the spring and fall semester of the first year of the undergraduate year will
be evaluated.
Note 1: Students must complete all required first-year courses.
Note 2: Students must earn at least 48 credits.
■Evaluation method
Students who are higher-ranked of GPA in the first year of undergraduate study.
Note 1: In the case of a tie, the one earned the higher number of credits will be given priority.

■Selection
Students and their guarantor will be notified of the results after being promoted to the second year.
■Miscellaneous
・No application is required.
・The scholarship is lump sum payout.
・There are no restrictions on receiving other scholarships at the same time. However, there are
some scholarships that prohibit receiving other scholarships. Please ask the organization.
