An applicant is required to be familiar with any of the following fields:
(1) HCI (Particularly Computer Graphics, Digital Fabrication, XR, etc.)
(2) Data Analysis Technology (Data Science, Machine Learning, etc. and their applications) - Subjects to be Taught and Required Duties:
<For Graduate School>
You are required to teach one or more subjects from the field of specialization per year.
<For Undergraduate School>
You are required to teach about four subjects in a year as listed below in Japanese.
– Practices: Basic Programming, Information Processing, etc.
– Math: Linear Algebra, Applied Math, Probability and Statistics, etc.
– Specialization: Introduction to Hardware, Computer Graphics, practice of Data Science, etc.
Project-Based Learning for the third year and Graduation Study for the fourth year of undergraduate school are required to be in charge. - Eligibility:
– A person who has a doctoral degree (including a person who is expected to obtain by the time of employment)
– A person who must have research achievements in the field of Information Systems, and is capable of teaching and providing research guidance for both undergraduate and graduate students. - Starting Date of Employment:
April 1 or September 1, 2026 - Documents to be Submitted (Either Japanese or English is acceptable.)
(1) Please specify application information (field of application (Information Systems), post applied for (Associate Professor), and desired start date (April 1 or September 1, 2026)
(2) Resume (including attached photograph, current address, contact numbers (telephone and e-mail), academic history (after high school graduation), employment history, research experiences, association(s) you belong to, degree(s), and rewards and punishments, etc.)
(3) List of achievements (such as research papers, publications, works, patents, vocational achievements, etc.), list of awards, and list of external research funding acquisition
(4) Three major achievements selected from the list of research achievements, and enclose reprints or copies (one for each), and the reasons why you choose as the major achievements (One page of A4 sized paper in length)
(5) Educational achievements (human resource development is included.)
(6) The outlines of your past research and the future research plan (English version/translation is required if the document is written in Japanese. The document must be within two pages of A4 sized paper in length)
(7) Educational aspirations (One page of A4 sized paper in length)
(8) List of 2 referees including their names, affiliations, contact addresses (postal address, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses)
