One specially appointed research fellow (full time) - Field of Research:
The position is available for the person who can conduct research of transport phenomena and dynamics of chemical reaction using the approaches of active matter, nonequilibrium statistical physics, theory/mathematical analyses of nonlinear dynamics, and machine learning in Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas (A): “Ion Congestion Science”.
Specific research backgrounds are not required but experiences of the following fields are desired.
(1) theory/numerical calculations of continuum fields such as reaction-diffusion equations
(2) molecular dynamics simulations
(3) analysis of physical phenomena by machine learning - Contract period:
A one-year fixed-term employment contract, renewable based on evaluation, and up until March 31,2029. - Eligibility:
-A person who has a doctoral degree (including a person who is expected to obtain by the time of employment)
– A person who must have research achievements in the specialty field. - Starting Date of Employment:
As soon as possible after March 1, 2026 (negotiable) - Documents to be Submitted (Either Japanese or English is acceptable.)
(1) Resume (including attached photograph, current address, contact (telephone and e-mail), academic history (after high school graduation), employment history, research experiences, association(s) you belong to, degree(s), and rewards and punishments, etc.)
(2) List of achievements (such as research papers, publications, works, patents, vocational achievements, etc.), list of awards, and list of external research funding acquisition
(3) Three major achievements selected from the list of research achievements, and enclose reprints or copies (one for each)
(4) The outlines of your past research and the future research plan (The document must be within two pages of A4 sized paper in length)
(5) List of 2 referees including their names, affiliations, contact addresses (phone numbers, and e-mail addresses)
