学生・保護者のみなさまへ
4月20日に今学期をスタートし、約2か月半が経過いたしました。
この間、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により、キャンパスで活動することだけでなく、自由に外出することや友人と集まって会話することまで自粛が求められるなど、これまで当たり前と思っていた日常生活が大きく制限されています。
特に新入生のみなさんが今、どのような思いで毎日を過ごされているか心配しています。
保護者のみなさまにおかれましても、感染拡大による社会生活・経済活動の大きな変化の中で、家計の急変やアルバイト収入の減少などによって学業継続に不安を抱えておられることと存じます。
そして、このような厳しい状況下において、オンライン授業で学びをつないでいる学生のみなさんと保護者のみなさまのご協力に改めて感謝申し上げます。
さて、既にお伝えしているように、今学期中は原則オンライン授業を継続することとしております。
後期においても、感染流行の状況を考慮しながら、科目登校や分散登校へと段階的な登校緩和ができることを望んでいますが、講義形態としてオンライン授業は継続して実施していくことになるだろうと考えています。
こうした状況と見通しを受けて、本学として、学生の生活および学修に対して経済的な支援を行うため、
全学生に対して、一律50,000円を「修学支援金」として支給することを予定しています。
これは、本学の設置母体である函館市をはじめ北斗市、七飯町の全面的な資金援助を受けて実施するものです。
正式決定を経て申請手続き開始は、約1か月後となりますが、あらかじめお知らせいたします。
まだ、感染は終息したわけではありません。
今後も、学生のみなさんの感染防止を最優先に大学を運営してまいります。
みなさまのご理解とご協力をお願い申し上げます。

《公立はこだて未来大学修学支援金の支給概要について》
□支給金額
学生一人あたり50,000円
□支給対象者
令和2年度において通年在籍する正規学生（学部生・大学院生）で、
前期、後期いずれか半期以上の受講が認められる者。
なお、9月入学、卒業予定者は対象となります。
（支給対象外となる例）
・通年休学する者
・前期授業料未納により除籍となる者
・前期途中の休学、停学により受講を中断し、後期休学予定の者
□申請期間
令和2年8月1日（土）～令和2年8月14日（金）
□申請方法
学生は大学からのメールに記載するURLにアクセスし、口座情報等を登録する。
□支給日
令和2年8月末から

Dear FUN students,
It’s been almost 2 months and a half since this semester started on April 20th.
Life that we used to take for granted is no longer the norm because of the coronavirus. We are especially concerned about how it has affected the lives of freshmen students.
We assume that parents are concerned about academic continuity due to taking a pay cut in the midst of major changes in social and economic activities because of the spread of the Coronavirus.
Once again, we would like to thank all of our students and parents for continuing to learn in online classes under these challenging circumstances.
As we’ve already announced, we will continue to offer online classes throughout this semester.
In the fall semester, we hope that the restriction of school attending will be eased in stages by operating subject-based/staggered attendance taking into account the prevalence of the outbreak, but we believe that online classes will continue to be offered as lecture format.
In response to this situation, FUN has decided to provide all students with a flat amount of 50,000 yen as “Academic Support Grant” in order to provide financial support for your lives and studies.
This grant is fully funded by Hakodate city, which is the founding body of the university, as well as Hokuto city and Nanae Town.
It will take about a month for the application process to start after the official decision is made, but we will inform you in advance.
The Coronavirus outbreak has not yet come to an end.
We will continue to run the university with the highest priority on preventing infections in our students.
Your understanding and patience are greatly appreciated.

Please note that this information is based on the current plan and is subject to change.

《Outline of Future University Hakodate Academic Support Grant》
Amount of grant: 50,000 yen per student
Person eligible: Regular students (undergraduate and graduate students) who are enrolled in the 2020 academic year and who attend the spring or fall semester for more than a half of the year.
This applies to students who enroll in September and those who will graduate in September.
(e.g.)
-Those who take a leave of absence throughout a year
-Those who will be expelled due to the unpaid tuition fee for the spring semester.
-Those who take a leave of absence or suspended in the spring semester and plan to take a leave of absence in the fall semester.
Application period: August 1st (Sat.) – August 14th (Fri.), 2020
Application method: Students go to the URL provided in the email from the university to register their account information.
Payment date: Starting at the end of August 2020
